Clouded Hills

Today the inlet has been obscured by low clouds and considerable rain has fallen. On days like this I have noticed that people's moods change, there are less walkers going up and down the road, the bus is carrying more passengers, the kids are cooped up in the classroom for lunch break and that makes for a difficult afternoon for teachers.

Why has our society stopped like getting wet ? If it rained here for 300 days a year as it does in Fiordland would we never go out ?
